Bob and Earl's Cafe was started by Earl Hurley and Robert Lee in the early 1990s. This father and son-in-law both had a passion for cooking and business, which brought them together in the industry before their ownership of the current location in 1993. Bob's daughter, Roberta would also become an owner after the passing of her father, Bob in the 2000s. Currently, the restaurant is operated by Earl and Roberta's granddaughter, Amanda, who has worked in hospitality and remembers playing in the large cardboard boxes in the cafe when she was little.
